Apple Business (formerly Apple Business Connect) makes it easy for customers to find your business using Apple Maps. Take control of how your business is seen. Create a place card that is accessible to everyone around the world who uses Apple devices and built-in apps — with directions, contact information, and actions built right in.
The Apple Business platform explicitly supports service area businesses in 2026. Businesses that operate without a public-facing physical storefront—such as plumbers, landscapers, delivery services, or any mobile/virtual providers—can register and manage a Place Card across Apple Maps, Siri, Spotlight, and other apps. Instead of pinning a customer-facing address on the map, they define the geographic service areas they cover (e.g., cities, regions, or zip codes), allowing them to appear in relevant local and voice searches within those boundaries while focusing on brand imagery, contact info, photos, and service details. A verifiable business address (preferably commercial) is typically required for account verification, but residential/home addresses are not publicly displayed.

Apple has a pretty simple listing management dashboard available through Apple Business Connect. Simply claim or add your listing and verify your business by providing an official document (such as lease, insurance policy, or utility bill) that shows this location’s name and address. Verification can take up to 5 business days.

Apple Maps is the default navigation app for Apple devices, offering features like real-time traffic, turn-by-turn navigation, and tight integration with the Apple ecosystem. With Apple holding about 57% of the U.S. smartphone market as of 2023, it’s a widely used tool, though competitors like Google Maps remain popular even on iOS.
